Discover Our Story

I started this company while my husband worked at a factory. I thought it would be good for working moms to have desserts for the holidays, specifically for Thanksgiving, without them having to worry about making them, but as it turned out, more than just mothers were interested. It started as just an idea for making extra money for Christmas, but I had no idea it would become as big as it has. Once I had sent letters out to my husband's coworkers, it blew up! People even started ordering before Thanksgiving, and to this day, I still have a few regulars. I chose the name Sissa's Sweets because it is a special name that my nieces and nephews call me. We also have a booth at our town's Christmas Walk every year. We have many people who come to our booth knowing what we already have because our sweets are just that good! However, we strive to add something new every year. When it comes to big orders and the Christmas Walk, my family steps in and helps out. I often use them as my guinea pigs for new recipes. All my recipes have been passed down from my mother, and some have been original, but either way, you will love Sissa Sweet's sweets and treats. If anyone told me ten years ago that I would be baking like I am today, I would have said they were crazy, but I'm so thankful for this opportunity to serve you with the best sweets and treats for your holiday or special occasion.
